This month is the ADA’s National Childrens Dental Health Month. It will be the 60th year that dentists and their staff around the country volunteer time to local schools in their community. These volunteer days raise awareness about the importance of childrens oral health.

Dr. Brad Bagwell DMD, PA and a few others here at Smiles Dental Design will once again be offering their services, this year it will be at Grace United Methodist in Merritt Island, FL on February 20th for the preschoolers.

Some of the activities that will be offered include the following,

-Teaching the preschoolers how to brush and floss

-Activity sheets on the importance of eating healthy foods.

-A few different educational videos

-We will be sending the preschoolers home with goody bags including a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss.

Getting kids to develop good habits at an early age, getting them in for regular dental visits and making their dental experience a fun one, can help them get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.
